Good first visit to this bonny loch. Met promptly at the roadside and informed the boat was ready for us. Gentle intermittent breeze and mostly cloudy bright and mild. Trout showing regularly and plenty evidence of black buzzers in the surface. Fished floating line with Kate Maclaren and Soldier Palmer on the bob and we managed 11 good trout for the day, missing plenty others. Trout averaging 3/4lb with a couple just over the pound. Caught fish on every drift so in the given conditions a very straightforward loch to fish. Wind picked up later in the day and it could well produce a good wave, but all in all a lovely loch to spend a day on. Will definately visit again.
