23rd May 2017 - very, very windy, swirling. Not the best day for to go to Bealach Cornaidh for the first time. Second mistake was not taking waders. Couldn't fish half of loch. Left early after catching (and releasing) eight fish, best 1/2 pound but most well under, one very thin. Small hatch of black flies - chironomid? Fish not fussy as long as it was small and black!

Attempted to fish on afternoon of 11th May 2016 in strong/gusting easterly wind. Struggled to get a line out with my poor casting! Fished eastern and southern banks with floating and intermediate lines with traditional wet patterns. No sign of rising or moving fish. Blanked. Lovely spot though.
