We walked up here in 2008 August. What a hike! Wont be doing it again in a hurry with our tent food etc. A hard hard walk, very testing at times. Fishing though was well worth it. The first cast landed a nice 1lb hard hard fighting trout. The rest of the night was fantastic. Small black flies did it every time. There are two lochs side by side. The top loch at the foot of Canisp was set in spectacular scenery. Worth walking there for it alone. Anyway visiting the two loch on the way up the mountain broke our trip into two nights and produced great fishing. Middle loch Loch Feith an Leothaid was overstocked with millions of small fish, every cast hooked a fish! Will be adding pics once I locate them.
