Fish this as part of a day in Ardroe, centred around Loch Braigh a' Bhaile but also taking in Loch nan Gobhar.
As with Loch Dubh, access from the track on the Achmelvich road. From Loch Dubh you can follow a footpath up to Loch Thornaid working along its north west shore.
There are some spectatcular views along the coast as well as some cracking fish, with bright red spots, caught in these lochs in the past, although this loch has been less productive in recent years. Part of the area was badly burned by a fire so may still be recovering from that.
