Assynt Angling Information

This site provides you with all the information you need about fishing in Assynt. You can find out where to fish and get your permits as well as access comments on particular lochs and send in your own. There is a unique interactive Ordnance Survey map which allows you to click on particular lochs and get specific information and comments. The site was developed as part of a 3 year research study on Angling in Assynt, funded by the Big Lottery Fund.

**COVID 19 UPDATE** - Following the lifting of somre erstrictions in Scotland, permits will be on sale to visitors from July 3rd. For the fishing under the Assynt Angling Group, both bank and boat permits will be on sale from July 3rd. For Assynt Crofters' Trust fishing, bank permits will be available from July 3rd, but boat tickets are not available until July 20th. For more information see the comments on the right.
