The Assynt Crofters' Trust own most of the fishing in the North Assynt area. It includes a myriad of over 150 lochs and lochans from large expanses of water (Loch Poll) to tiny unnamed lochans. This is some of the best and most remote wild brown trout fishing in the country.

To fish these lochs you need an ACT permit which covers all of the lochs, lochans and burns on their land.
